Mr. Salah Adib, General Manager of Al Masaood TBA recounts how the UAE successfully tackled the pandemic to become one of the leading countries in the region for its outstanding contributions.⁣⁣

During the past months, the UAE has been identified as one of the leading countries in the region for its outstanding contributions towards fighting the pandemic.

What is the story behind this success? UAE leaders and health regulatory authorities have played an exceptional role in considering urgent techniques, mass testing and multiple other preliminary precautions. Since day one, HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has promised his citizens and residents and UAE visitors safety and health in the country during this pandemic. It is his words “Do not be concerned” that brought peace and tranquility to the UAE society.

UAE leadership has identified the threats of this pandemic at its early stage and worked on supporting mass testing with the funds required. Mass testing has played a vital role in flattening the curve, along with other techniques as contact tracing and patient isolation.

In addition, nationwide sterilization programs and screening strategy which has been a major responsibilty for the government, helped in providing a healthy and safe environment to the UAE society.

International measures have been applied by the UAE to help and support the world against the current pandemic. Tonnes of medical supplements and equipment have been sent overseas to assist humanity in fighting the novel virus.

Meanwhile, the UAE went beyond the limits and revealed a major scientific breakthrough using stem cell treatment which contributed to and supported the fight against COVID-19. This contribution led to a considerably low mortality rate compared to the global average.

All other governmental sectors have worked to support and protect the local economy, SME owners, workers and society individuals by setting the right guidelines and procedures. These guidelines preserved the rights of workers as well by governing the acts and decisions of employers and small business owners. The fight was fierce, but the plan worked, and the future will bring more achievements and opportunities to each member of this society.

Along with this mindset and crisis management strategy, it is very possible, that the UAE, with the support of its partners, will provide a potential cure to the world.

At Al Masaood, we are committed to adhere to and support the government’s strategic plans and guidelines in fighting the novel virus. We believe in our leaders, we believe in our society, we believe in our team.

Thank you, our Heroes, Thank you our Leaders
