Turning 2020 challenges into opportunities: the Al Masaood way

Through the Group's constant efforts to help and give back to the community, an award of appreciation was bestowed on Al Masaood Group by Ma'an, the Authority of Social Contribution, in recognition of the Group's contributions to the Ma'an national campaign, Together We Are Good.
Launched with an aim to facilitate stronger community solidarity amid the current health and economic challenges, the campaign provided the Group with an ideal opportunity to demonstrate solid support to the nation, as it strives to curb the spread of COVID-19 and protect public health.
Under the leadership of our Chairman, H.E Masaood Ahmed Al Masaood, 400 rooms at the Occidental Sharjah Grand Hotel were given during the outbreak to serve as quarantine and isolation spaces for suspected COVID-19 patients or those in the process of recovery. Apart from being part of the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, these initiatives reflect the core values instilled by our founders.
Through Ma'an, whose aim is to support a culture of social contribution and participation; Al Masaood Group contributed a fully equipped Nissan Sunny to serve the people of determination, as part of the program. The car is used to facilitate movements for people of determination within the authority.
