‘2021 to teach us that there’s always a better tomorrow’
14 February 2021
I thought I was much stronger than this!
When the pandemic hit, I didn’t realise how worried I would get about my little toddler. The new mums’ manual did not prepare me for a pandemic. I worked from home for a while and I feel blessed that I was able to spend quality time with my baby girl while getting work done. But I soon felt the need to be strong. I prayed. And then I quickly learnt how to navigate a new way of life.
I am very grateful to the management of Masaood Bergum. The team was looking after everyone during the pandemic. They offered us regular tests and applied safety measures.
I learnt that life will move on and that the world doesn’t stop. I recently organized the installation of Bergum cabins in Yas Marina’s biggest Grand Prix event, and that was the most difficult job I have supervised in my career. But seeing the result, the success, and the influx of people to the event reassured me that life will soon come back to normal.
2020 taught the world patience, and 2021 will teach us to believe that there will always be a better tomorrow.
