Abu Dhabi Chamber Elects Al Masaood to Chair ‘Automobile and Spare Parts Agencies Working Group Committee (WGC)’

Al Masaood Group has been elected to chair the ‘Automobile and Spare Parts Agencies Working Group Committee (WGC)’ of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Representing Al Masaood will be our Vice Chairman, Ahmed Rahma Al Masaood.
The WGC was founded to advance the local sector’s interests. One of its main functions is to strengthen the cooperation and communication amongst investors, local and federal public and semi-government entities, and other stakeholders. The same business group was formed previously in Dubai, leading to the development of more ideas to elevate the local automotive industry.
The committee comprises key automotive dealers and industry players in Abu Dhabi such as Al Futtaim, Juma Al Majid, and others. Together with committee members, we will work on presenting new growth and development opportunities for the sector. Additionally, our aim is to maintain vibrant and strong relations between the dealers in order to offer the best benefit for the industry.
Over the years, we have been actively pursuing the formation of this Committee. We have also invested much effort in establishing long-lasting partnerships between our various divisions and leading government bodies in Abu Dhabi.
Al Masaood has enjoyed strong ties with Abu Dhabi Chamber for long years, dating back to the late Ahmed Al Masaood, who was the first President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, followed by the late Rahma Al Masaood, also a former President of the Chamber.
Al Masaood is also the first company to be registered at the Abu Dhabi Chamber and holds the Commercial License number ‘1’.
