Al Masaood Automobiles Completes its Apprenticeship Programme for Emirati Students with Vocational Education Development Centre

Al Masaood Automobiles has actively implemented multiple initiatives aimed at training and upskilling our local youth. In September 2021, Al Masaood Automobiles Aftersales Department initiated the ‘Automotive Specialisation Skills Programme’, in support of the government’s Emiratisation policy and local talent enhancement programme ‘Nafis’.
The apprenticeship programme offered Emirati youth an opportunity to gain hands-on practical expertise in automotive aftersales services. The first batch consisted of eight Emirati students of the Vocational Education Development Centre (VEDC) who joined AMA for a period of ten months. This apprenticeship programme has finally come to an end and our students have successfully completed its requirements.
On the 10th of June, Al Masaood Automobiles Aftersales Department held a meeting with the VEDC principal, Academic and Student Affairs Associates to announce the completion of the programme and to certify the students.
As a part of Al Masaood Group, one of our inherent missions is to invest in our community. Our automotive specialisation skills programme forms part of this commitment and serves as one of our multifaceted, full-fledged Emiratisation initiatives.
