Al Masaood Automobiles Concludes First Training Session for GHQ Technicians
17 October 2021
Al Masaood Automobiles completed its first training session for technicians from the Ministry of Defence’s General Headquarters (GHQ). With the first batch consisting of 11 trainees from the General Maintenance Corps – Joint Logistics Command, the training ran for a period of 1 month at AMA’s M12 Service Centres.
The training programme comprised both theory and practical applications, and focused on two areas, namely ‘Difficult Diagnosis and Repair of Engine’ and ‘Noise and Vibration Diagnosis for Chassis.’ The main aim is to equip the participants with diagnostic and repair skills, specifically for the Nissan Patrol Y61 and Y62 models, as well as enhance their technical automotive knowledge.
A second batch of GHQ technicians is also scheduled to undergo the same workshop during October, where they will get to learn about using the diagnostic scan tool special for Nissan cars – the Consult 3 Plus.
The initiative demonstrates Al Masaood Automobiles’ ongoing support for the nationwide Emiratisation policy and the local talent enhancement programme ‘Nafis’. It also reflects the company’s commitment to invest in the Abu Dhabi community through its automotive specialisation skills programmes
