As a part of AMA’s commitment to youth development and supporting the community, Renault Abu Dhabi has been a sponsor of the Manchester Thunder Women’s Netball Team - a six-time Netball Performance League Champion from the UK, since 2022.
With a mission to promote Netball in the country, Manchester Thunder’s UAE team “Young Falcons” has been engaging in various trainings and championships for the sport. Recently, the team member Sophie Nesbitt, achieved a significant milestone by winning a Bronze Medal for Team UAE at the Under-17 European Netball Championships held in Northern Ireland.
Netball continues to rise as a key sport in the region, empowering female athletes and building a stronger sporting culture. By supporting this momentum, AMA contributes to advancing women’s sports and providing young athletes with opportunities to thrive on a global stage.
Furthermore, the Manchester Thunder team actively engages the community by featuring "trainers of the week", shedding a light on the Young Falcons that show dedication, sportsmanship, and a pursuit of excellence both on and off the court – mirroring AMA’s ethos closely.
Renault Abu Dhabi’s partnership with the team is a clear reflection of AMA’s broader goal of supporting the local sports scene and nurturing young talent in Abu Dhabi, further positioning the capital as a thriving hub for sports. By championing the unifying power of sports, Al Masaood Automobiles Renault also aims to inspire communities and ignite aspirations among young athletes.
