I am pleased to announce that Al Masaood Commercial Vehicles & Equipment (CV&E) has recently joined the annual UD Trucks Partner's Conference 2022 which gathers all UD Trucks partners from the Middle East, East, and North Africa (MEENA) region where each partner presented their respective collaborations and success stories with the brand. The conference was held on 17th November at the Dubai Queen Elizabeth II Hotel.

The 2022 conference served as an ideal venue for UD Trucks to share the progress of its business strategy for this year and its plans for 2023. The market share for UD Trucks went up globally and the brand is moving in the right direction while expanding exponentially in the PKE category and Waste Management.

During the conference, Al Masaood CV&E was proudly awarded the President Award 2022 and the Parts Sales Team of the Year 2022 . Both honour the division's continuous efforts over the past year in a very challenging market environment.

The UD Trucks President Award is a special award category that was created especially for CV&E by Mourad Hedna, President of UD Trucks MEENA. The award comes as a recognition for our consistent good work in truck sales in the waste management sector, our continued and consistent focus on marketing, relocating to a new modern workshop facility, and enhancing the customer experience with fantastic results for Parts Sales during the year.

Furthermore, the team was named for the Parts Sales Team of the Year 2022 after meeting all the stipulated criteria. From the significant increased sales in our retail, the UD Trucks parts purchases that exceeded the target from 44% to 69%, the Legacy and new Range that clocked at 65%, to customer penetration, and the order pattern that reached its ideal balance (90% - 7% - 3%).

I am proud of my team for always going the extra mile to successfully sell and promote the UD brand in Abu Dhabi.
