Al Masaood, being a certified partner in the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Programme since 2021, was selected for the third consecutive time by the Federal Tax Authority and Abu Dhabi Customs to host a high-profile delegation from Hong Kong. The visit aimed to showcase the company’s rigorous processes and procedures, as a best practice example in implementing effective management, logistics, supply chain systems.
The visit was attended by senior management members from Al Masaood, where we presented our operations and highlighted the benefits that we have achieved through our AEO membership. We also took the delegates on a tour of Al Masaood Automobiles M12 warehouse, to view our efficient supply chain processes, safety and security measures, and shipment handling procedures.
Today Al Masaood stands as a global trade player considering the leading brands that we represent. Hence, being a certified AEO member is important for us as it enhances operational efficiencies, strengthens our supply chain security, and solidifies our global trade partnerships. The AEO certification process involves intensive evaluations and close interactions with Abu Dhabi Customs to ensure compliance with international standards, which Al Masaood has invested great efforts to attain.
I look forward to securing more of the highly impactful benefits of the AEO membership, through expedited customs procedures, reduced operational risks, and access to a broader network of trusted trade partners. This collectively will boost Al Masaood’s position as a strategic player in the international trade ecosystem.
