AL MASAOOD "HR BUDDY" PROGRAM FOR ONBOARDING NEW EMPLOYEES

When starting a new role, have you ever wished you could fast forward through the first few months, skipping over those awkward moments of confusion? For many new hires, the learning curve is steep, and when it comes to settling into an unfamiliar company, they don’t want to do it alone.

Don’t worry! At Al Masaood, we are now implementing a Buddy Program as part of our employee onboarding. This initiative intends to improve the employee experience - turning great hires into great employees.


Through the support of our nominated, trained and appointed Buddies, new hires will now have an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the information they are desperate to know while having mixed feeling of nervousness and excitement. Getting new hires to feel part of the team as quickly as possible is critical to success, but guess what? Our Buddy program will not only accelerate this transitional period but also lead to a faster ramp-up time for new employees.


Meanwhile, buddies can enjoy great perks that will eventually lift up their profile, offering great recognition and opportunities to grow & develop in their current roles. Some of the perks include exposure, socializing, enhanced communication skills, representing the Al Masaood brand, integration with different departments, and much more. They will be working closely with the HR, Operations and IT teams in order to make the onboarding process as smooth as possible.


First impressions are very important and to make it a memorable experience for our employees, we’ve found that the most important thing a new hire needs at this moment is SUPPORT!


All it takes is a solid onboarding plan and a dedicated buddy who partners with the new hire through the initial stages, starting from pre-boarding till the new joiner gets fully integrated into Al Masaood - ensuring that the new hires gets the positive spirit and stay productive throughout his/her journey with us.


We are happy to share with you that this is an active program since Q2, 2021.
