It is no secret that at Al Masaood Group we believe that Emiratization is a vital component of the country's socio-economic development, and we have been actively involved in honing the skills of UAE nationals across all sectors that we operate in.

Today I am delighted to share that 30 aspiring Emarati nationals who are currently specializing in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) have completed a two-week internship at Al Masaood Group.

The interns were assigned across Al Masaood Automobiles, Al Masaood Power Division, Al Masaood Commercial Vehicles & Equipment Division, and Al Masaood Bergum. 

Al Masaood Group has crafted highly competitive professional training and internship programs for Emiratis within the organization. The empowerment of young Emiratis is of utmost importance to us, thus these programs have been designed to equip young Emiratis with advanced industry skills and knowledge.

Throughout their internship period, the interns were assigned to specific tasks that gave them first-hand exposure and experience to the Division they were assigned to.

Speaking on the Internship Program Aslam Ali, Bergum's Administration Manager, said Internships are a great opportunity for students to apply what they are currently learning at university, and a great opportunity to learn more about themselves in a professional work setting. Apart from that Interns can also give a fresh perspective to the team they are working with. It was lovely onboarding the young Emirati students; I am certain that they benefitted greatly from the program, and that their experience with AMB will help them in choosing and furthering their professional career.

Ultimately, Al Masaood's goal is to nurture highly qualified Emirati executives to assume managerial roles within the organization, and become an active contributor to the Group and the nation's overall development. 

Emiratization is vital to the UAE's future progress and Al Masaood will remain relentless in pursuing its success, thank you to all the team members that have helped in making the internship program a success.
