What a year it turned out to be!
It is not just the great results that I am proud of, but the strategic evolution of our activities that continue to lay strong foundations for a bright future. All this was enabled by the unwavering support of our Directors and executed by the great leadership by Group Industrial’s General Managers with their committed teams.
For this, a heartfelt THANK YOU.
Across Group Industrial, Al Masaood Bergum cemented its regeneration. The Power Division continued to develop its brands, significantly improved its After Sales, and executed its maiden project for Shams+. The CVE team executed a major award for Municipal trucks and launched its first E-Truck in the process, as well as introduced its latest brand-Dong Feng. TBA turned what could have been a difficult year for the Tyres sector into one of opportunity and embarked on a major shift in strategy. PESD secured the biggest order in its history on the back of its diversification agenda. Finally, ARB Emirates continued to record new growth records and win local and international awards.
On new business, we launched Al Masood Equipment Rental division and it quickly established itself as a major player in a competitive sector. We launched Al Masaood Technical Services and subsequently signed two international principal brands for nuclear services. Al Masaood Industries was launched as a vehicle for high end steel solutions engineering. And, towards the end of year, we received approval to launch our 8th business unit, Al Masaood MotorTech, the new company for operating NIDEC LEROY SOMER solely.
We participated in many exhibitions and industry forums, both within the UAE and in the region, including a spectacular ADIPEC presence and a debut in COP28 UAE, where Shams+ was well received by one and all. Our drive to bring solutions for a sustainable world remains a core value.
As we look forward to the new year, the objective is unchanged; we must remain relevant and pioneering, continue to diversify and produce the results that Al Masaood is very deserving of.
