Commemoration Day - يوم الشهيد

في يوم الشهيد، نقف إجلالاً واحتراماً لشهدائنا الأبرار، الذين قدموا بتضحياتهم الخالدة أنبل الأمثلة في الانتماء والعطاء، وبذلوا أرواحهم في سبيل إعلاء راية الحق والدفاع عن الوطن في ساحات العز والشرف. ونحتفي ببطولات شهدائنا البواسل التي ستبقى خالدةً في ذاكرة الوطن وقلوب أبنائه، ونستذكر بفخرٍ تضحياتهم العظيمة، التي تشكل منارةً تضيء درب الأجيال القادمة، مستلهمين من توجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس الدولة، "حفظه الله"، الذي أكد أن ذكرى شهدائنا الأبرار ستظل مصدر إلهام على الدوام، وستبقى تضحياتهم حاضرة في وجدان شعبنا، ونموذجاً مشرقاً لحب الوطن والتضحية بكل غالٍ ونفيس من أجله.
ونؤكد في هذه المناسبة الوطنية المجيدة اعتزازنا بشهدائنا الأبطال وإخلاصنا للقيم والمبادئ التي ضحوا من أجلها، ونجدد العهد والولاء لوطننا وقيادتنا الرشيدة، والتزامنا بمواصلة العمل من أجل نماء الدولة ورفعتها.
On Commemoration Day, we join the entire nation in honouring the courage and sacrifices made by our Emirati Martyrs. Their memory will long live in our country's history and they will continue to be a beacon of hope and a driving force behind the nation's progress toward a peaceful and prosperous future. The principles of sacrifice represented by our martyrs are the values on which strong nations are built. It is through these values that our country has achieved tremendous growth and carved out its unique place in the world. This year, we observe Commemoration Day in accordance with the directives of our President, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has emphasised numerous times that the sacrifices of our martyrs are a true example of patriotism, and their memory will always serve as an inspiration.
At Al Masaood, we pay tribute to the heroic souls who gave everything they had to preserve the integrity of our country. We also reiterate our allegiance to our wise leadership and valiant armed forces for their tireless efforts to protect our homeland. May they always remain an inspiration for the future generations.
