Keeping up with AMA's annual tradition, I gathered my team for the 2024 Falcon 2.0's Kick Off Meeting where we reviewed the AMA's performance in the year before and set the path for 2024. The year 2023 was the Winning Year for AMA and in that spirit, we celebrated the great achievements we delivered as ONE TEAM. The AMA Falcons and I were honoured to welcome our Chairman, H.E. Masaood Ahmed Al Masaood, along with our Directors, Humaid Al Masaood and Khalifa Al Masaood, Executive Committee members, and Senior Executives of the Group and Corporate Support.
2023 marked the very first year of Falcon 2.0, AMA's second midterm strategy, where we set forth to fully embrace our vision, purpose, and values, guided by the pillars of Innovation, Customer Centricity, and Diversification.
While the world has witnessed many changes and tech evolutions in 2023, AMA was crowned with prestigious achievements like the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA), the Global Nissan Aftersales Award, the Global INFINITI Award, the Renault strong revamp, and so much more.
During the meeting, I presented the results delivered by AMA across all facets of the business. And I also stressed on the operational priorities that we will be focusing on in 2024. However, when we spoke about our success, we didn't only speak of strategy. We highlighted human stories that were behind this success. The Falcons who set out their goals, believed in themselves, remained ambitious, and overachieved.
We concluded the session by highlighting AMA's Culture of Excellence that will support our team to elevate their performance this year.
However, there's no celebration complete without giving due appreciation to the AMA Falcons that have truly delivered on their promise of Excellence. In our annual Falcon Awards ceremony, we recognised the outperforming employees who have gone above and beyond in their work and achieved great results last year. We also showed our appreciation through the 'Long Service Awards' to those who dedicated many years of service to AMA.
2023 was AMA's Winning Year, a tremendously successful one - THE BEST WE EVER HAD.
It would not have been possible without the AMA Falcons, to whom I am immensely grateful. I also thank our colleagues in Corporate Support Services who played an instrumental role in AMA's success.
