Honouring Maritime Heritage at the Grand Kingfish Championship

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that preserve the UAE’s national identity, Al Masaood Automobiles recently sponsored the Abu Dhabi Grand Kingfish Championship, held in Abu Dhabi earlier this April.
The event was organised by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. It showcased traditional fishing methods and celebrated the UAE’s rich maritime heritage, drawing participants and spectators from across the region and beyond.
During the closing ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan recognised Al Masaood Automobiles for its contribution to the championship and its continued support for traditional sports.
Through this sponsorship, Al Masaood Automobiles reaffirms its commitment to promoting heritage-based activities that contribute to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for marine and sporting events.
