CEO of Al Masaood Automobiles, Irfan Tansel was recently interviewed by Ersoy Erkazanci of Bloomberg HT where he discussed the future of mobility and the transition of the automotive industry to sustainability.
During the interview, Tansel highlighted the transformation that the sector is witnessing and how these forces are giving rise to four disruptive technology-driven trends in the automotive segment: electrification, diverse mobility, autonomous driving, and connectivity. Furthermore, he talks about electrification being the future in the MENA region, Europe, and Asia, and the challenges that comes with it.
Tansel further added that the integration of advanced and innovative technologies has brought about a rapid change in the automotive sector that transforms mobility, reduce carbon footprint, and has influenced consumer preferences.
