I am pleased to announce that Al Masaood Automobiles CEO, Irfan Tansel, was named ‘Visionary of the Year’ at the 2021 Enterprise Agility Awards by Entrepreneur Middle East magazine. Irfan has been given this honour for leading AMA towards greater success through difficult market conditions as was reflected by the company’s consistent performance over the past year.

Winning this title adds to Irfan’s list of accolades, including being named one of the "Top 100 CEOs in the Middle East 2021’ by Forbes and ‘100 Inspiring Leaders in the Middle East’ by Arabian Business. In 2018, he was also awarded the title ‘CEO of the Year’ by CEO Magazine Middle East.

Irfan has led AMA through its successful transformation over his 5-year plan, ‘Project Falcon’ which guided AMA in navigating some of the most difficult and unpredictable market conditions. With ‘Project Falcon’, we continue to invest in our people, facilities, technologies, and new innovative retail methods to keep our dealership in tune with our customers and the changing market dynamics. It is with the execution of ‘Project Falcon’ that AMA strengthened its financial position with higher profitability and market share along with achieving a record number of units sold.

The transformation at AMA has been recognised in the market and endorsed by our principals. Al Masaood Automobiles has proudly received numerous recognitions in recent years, the most recent of which is prestigious "Global Nissan Aftersales Award 2020" for growing Nissan’s aftersales market more than any other dealership in a pandemic year. AMA was also named ‘Best of the Best’ when granted the “Global Best Dealer Award 2019” by Nissan for its exceptional business performance, top ranking customer satisfaction and ability to rapidly innovate and launch new solutions. Irfan was recently appointed by Nissan as the Chairman of the newly founded DAB (Dealer Advisory Board) representing all Nissan dealers in the region and addressing their present and future challenges in this transforming sector.

AMA was also awarded the "Standard Quality Award 2020" By Infiniti Middle East for recording outstanding aftersales performance and significant increase in sales. Irfan’s leadership skills in the region expanded AMA’s reputation as a pioneering automotive dealership in the UAE and beyond.
