As this new year begins, I would like to take a moment to reflect on some of the highlights achieved by Al Masaood Property during 2023. It's been a year filled with challenges and triumphs, and through it all, our team has shown exceptional resilience and dedication, achieved our goals and set new standards.
This year, we've marked significant milestones.
Achieved the highest levels of occupation across the portfolio for the past decade, hitting a 96% all-time high in November 2023.
Re-secured ISO9001 (Quality Management System), ISO45001 (Occupational Safety & Health) and ISO41001 (Facility Management System) whilst obtaining ISO14001 (Environmental Management Systems) for the first time.
Completed the rebuild and fit-out on behalf of AMA for their new maintenance and workshop facilities for Abu Dhabi Police in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Completed the 3rd phase of four of the refurbishments at the Occidental Sharjah Grand Hotel, including the new entrance way and upgrades to rooms.
A standout achievement of 2023 was the registration of all the portfolio assets (Fire Line Safety Drawings) with Civil Defence in accordance with the new ADCD and ADM regulations.
Looking towards 2024, I am excited to share some of our plans for the relocation of our new Head Office from Al Najda Street, the companies’ home for the past 50 years, to Al Masaood Tower in Hamdan Street. This move will see a significant improvement in brand recognition for our clients and communication across all our business units, benefiting from state-of-the-art technology systems and facilities for our employees. The first business units to relocate will be during the third quarter (August) and we hope to have all business units relocated before the end of the year. The new offices will feature carefully curated spaces tailored to our needs, including ample meeting rooms, collaborative workspaces, quiet zones and sophisticated shared meeting spaces.
