The UAE leadership has laid the foundation for empowering the UAE women so that they can become role models in terms of achievements, generosity and excellence. They are a powerful force helping drive the UAE’s comprehensive development process for nearly 50 years.

The theme of this year’s Emirati Women’s Day, ‘Women: Ambitions and Inspiration for Next 50 Years,’ confirms the country’s priority to arm them with modern scientific knowledge and support their determination and ambitions. Our nation considers them as true partners in its preparations for the next 50 years, in line with its ambition to leave an imprint on human civilisation and history.

On this special occasion, we express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Mother of the Nation, H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation. H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak led the renaissance of Emirati women to achieve the vision of our founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who supported them so that they could occupy high positions in our society.
