Led by our Director, Mr. Ahmed Rahma Al Masaood, and alongside the CEO of Group Industrial, Mr. Hani El Tannir, and Mr. Salah Adib, General Manager of Al Masaood TBA, I had the pleasure of visiting our long-standing partner, UD Trucks, in their headquarters in Japan.
We were cordially welcomed by Mr. Koichi Ito, Chairman – UD Trucks, Mr. Shinya Hasegawa, Senior Vice President – UD Trucks, Mr. Kenneth Hagas, Vice President – UD Trucks, Mr. Yoshikazu, Head of UD Experience Centre – UD Trucks, Ms. Imelda Sitorus, Senior Director – UD Trucks, and Mr. Mourad Hedna, Managing Director – UD Trucks MEENA.
The visit comes following a very successful period that Al Masaood CV&E has witnessed with UD Trucks. Our team’s diligent efforts in growing the brand have resulted in a significant spike in sales and aftersales services in our market, which has drawn global recognition, and was a main driver in our receipt of the prestigious ‘The Best UD Trucks Dealer in the MEENA Region 2023’.
During the visit, our Director, Mr. Ahmed Rahma Al Masaood, was taken on a tour of the UD Trucks factory, where he learned more about the brand’s proposition of “Ultimate Dependability”, its nine-decade rich history, and also got insight into the very exciting future models that will soon be revealed in the market.
