When it comes to success, one might say it is like an iceberg — what’s visible is just a fraction of the hard work, determination, and teamwork beneath the surface. It is also the result of an unwavering commitment to our Falcon 2.0 strategy.
Record-Smashing Performance
The Falcons of AMA have shattered records in car sales and aftersales, and exceeded every benchmark we’ve set, achieving remarkable growth for Nissan, INFINITI, and Renault, even amidst fierce competition. We grew our market share and our customer satisfaction ratings across all verticals of the business than ever before.
This year achieved the highest Nissan new vehicle sales. Equally remarkable is the phenomenal success in delivering the highest consolidated Operating Profit since 2018 for the company.
2024 also marked a significant moment for our partnership with Nissan, with the global launch of all new Nissan Patrol, right here in Abu Dhabi. This was further underscored by the visit of Nissan’s CEO, inaugurating our revamped Mussafah complex as the largest in the world.
Diversification at the heart of our solid position
On the retail front, AMA achieved two major milestones: breaking records in March and again in September in car sales across our brands. By year-end, we closed as the highest retail year in our history and among dealers in Abu Dhabi. This achievement demonstrates that we’re not solely reliant on the Patrol—our diversification agenda is proving solid and all our teams are hard at work.
Elevating Aftersales Excellence
The Aftersales team has raised the bar again, enhancing processes and focusing on excellence. The team earned the ‘Best Improvement Award FY23’ for exceptional performance in the lubricant segment.
Auto Central earned the coveted 5-Star Vehicle Workshop rating from the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT). Achieving this milestone on the first attempt required over two years of rigorous effort to meet the highest certification criteria.
CX’s Global Recognition
Our focus on delighting customers has borne fruit, with unprecedented results in customer satisfaction surveys and Net Promoter Scores. The CX team made a global debut at the 5th Annual Customer Centricity World Series, securing two distinguished awards: the Customer-Centric Culture Award, and the Customer Insight & Feedback (VOC) Award.
Employer of Choice & Marketing Recognition
It has also been a year of recognition for our people. Winning the ‘Employer of Choice’ award speaks volumes of our commitment to cultivating a culture of growth and well-being.
We were recognized with the Nissan ‘Top Marketing Performance Award’ for our highly engaging campaign at the Liwa International Festival (Moreeb Dune 2024).
Adapting and Thriving in Changing Times
Despite Abu Dhabi’s evolving automotive landscape, we thrived by embracing change, encouraging new business ideas, driving change, and paying extra close attention to our customers. Milestones like the global debut of the Nissan Patrol in Abu Dhabi, the launch of the Renault Arkana and INFINITI QX80, were milestones added to this year.
Behind these successes were countless hours of meticulous work placed by teams of all ranks, effective communication with highly demanding and difficult customers.
We step into 2025 with a clear vision and renewed energy. Reaching the top means, we have no time to rest. On the sales front, we are preparing for challenges, including limitations on certain models. However, contingency plans are well underway and will be shared in due course. We have new models and innovations on the horizon, we also look forward to the nationwide expansion of Auto Central - raising the bar for multi-brand service quality.
A Win for Us All
As I reflect on this remarkable year, I’m reminded of an old saying: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." Our success is a testament to the dedication of over 1,000 Falcons. From Sales to Aftersales, CPOV, F&I, and beyond.
