Al Masaood CV&E team had the opportunity of attending the UD Trucks Global Dealer Conference that took place from 6 to 9 November in Tokyo, Japan. This was the first time UD held their Global Conference after a period of ten years.
The conference brought together more than 250 senior executives from the UD authorised dealers community from around the world with the intension to align the brand's operators with UD's future plans and product launches. In addition to the conference, the agenda included a trip to the UD stand at the iconic Japan Mobility Show as well as customer trips to UD's latest experience center.
The conference covered the strategic outlook of the trucking industry which will be led by two main verticals: Innovation and Sustainability. The trucking industry is set to witness one of the most progressive advancements in telematics and collaborative operating models. It will also strongly focus on sustainable transportation, which is amplified by efficient fuel consumption, reduced carbon emissions and the introduction of electric models.
Much like other segments in mobility, the trucking sector is moving towards Service Excellence and a focus on customer satisfaction in the aftersales market. We are proud to say that Al Masaood CV&E has embraced this approach over the past few years. Among the success stories in the conference were South Africa, Thailand, and in the MEENA region, Abu Dhabi topped the charts.
The team was very proud to present Abu Dhabi's journey in winning waste management contracts, outplaying other long-standing brands. Our team launched a mission to upgrade our aftersales operations and spare parts offering, and together with UD Trucks, we were able to secure a large stake in the Western Region’s waste management sector.
At the end of the conference, CV&E came out as the winner of the UD Trucks MEENA ‘Best Dealer’ Award, an accolade we take as a badge of honor.
