We Are 100k Strong on LinkedIn

Three years ago, when I joined Al Masaood, I set both a personal and professional goal to set up Al Masaood’s corporate presence online, especially on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is the world’s fastest growing social platform and the only one set out for professionals.
The platform today is at a growth rate of 400% in the UAE and hosts over 650 million users worldwide. It fills me with immense pride to see how in just three years we were able to cultivate 100,000 followers.
This did not come easy and has been achieved with tremendous effort from the HR team as well. MARCOM and HR worked hard to develop a variety of content that highlights the Al Masaood divisions, history, as well as achievements, and accolades. We launched job postings and were able to utilize the intelligent databases of LinkedIn to reach the best talent. We also made sure to share with our followers thought-leadership articles and insights from our experts across the Group. Today, a lot of our employees have turned into brand custodians sharing their admiration and pride of Al Masaood brand with their LinkedIn network.
I can confidently say that the content we shared has generated great interest garnering over 4.5 million Impressions and over half a million engagements collectively. Our LinkedIn page and content attracts visitors from competing local companies like Al Futtaim and Al Rostamani. Today the followers of Al Masaood are individuals and companies from around the world.
It is also very gratifying to say that LinkedIn Middle East have been using Al Masaood’s page as a case study when pitching to new clients. As a testament to our efforts, in 2018 and 2019 we were nominated as a finalist in the category of ‘Best Employer Brand on LinkedIn’ at the coveted LinkedIn MENA Talent Awards, which recognises companies based on their utilisation of LinkedIn Solutions
