Al Masaood Bergum, one of the UAE’s leading modular and prefabricated building solutions providers and part of Al Masaood Group, has formally announced the appointment of Jens Otterstedt as its new General Manager.
Otterstedt will take the lead in helping Al Masaood’s construction division navigate the growing construction demand for prefabricated solutions manufactured locally to the best of global standards. Otterstedt joins with over three decades of experience in the field of construction, design and factory management.
In his new role, he will oversee the operations of Al Masaood Bergum and launch new and upgraded range of solutions in the area of prefabricated building solutions. He will be in charge of Al Masaood Bergum’s 800-strong employees and its expanding Abu Dhabi and Dubai operations.

Otterstedt held various senior positions before joining Al Masaood Bergum. He previously launched world class factories in UAE, Canada, Germany and Mauritius. In his previous roles, he launched iconic airports terminals, hotels, residential and office buildings as well was run the operations of factories. He believes in implementing the ‘LEAN culture’ with the adoption of computer-controlled manufacturing processes, among other key tasks. In the Middle East, he successfully managed, restructured, and developed fit-out factories. Otterstedt is committed to delivering high-profile projects on budget with outstanding quality results.
