As we join the Nation in celebrating the 54th Eid Al Etihad, I am pleased to highlight a major milestone for Al Masaood Power Division. Our colleague, Naser Badhafari, has officially become the first Emirati mtu certified training instructor. 

Naser joined Al Masaood Power Division in August 2020 and, in early 2023, was selected to enter the instructor development track. His journey began with the “Train the Trainer 1” programme completed in Friedrichshafen, Germany. This marked the start of his formal pathway toward instructor certification. 

Following his return, Naser delivered two supervised sessions at our Power Division Training Centre. The first focused on preparation and feedback. The second served as the formal assessment conducted by an mtu instructor. 

By completing all required technical courses and meeting the performance standard in his formal assessment, Naser is now certified to deliver training for the mtu 4000 series. His role includes supporting key national customers such as the UAE Navy and National Guard, as well as contributing to the development of Emirati professionals within our Mechatronics Programme. His progression continues next year as he works toward adding the mtu 2000 series to his capability. 

Whilst this achievement is a significant personal success, it also reflects the effectiveness of the structured training framework we have established within our Training Centre. It strengthens our long-term commitment to developing national talent and supports the UAE’s growing participation in advanced technical fields.
