Al Masaood Bergum, part of Al Masaood Group and one of the UAE’s leading modular building solutions providers, successfully participated as Bronze Sponsors at the Saudi Giga Projects 2023 and MENA Construction Summit 2023. The prestigious events took place at the Crowne Plaza – RDC Hotel & Convention in Riyadh on June 5-6, 2023.

The first day of the event was dedicated to Saudi Giga Projects 2023, offering attendees an overview and outlook of Saudi Arabia’s giga project program and its contracting and supplier opportunities. The second day focused on the MENA Construction Summit 2023, facilitating meaningful discussion around the delivery of construction projects on time, within budget, and with raised standards of sustainability and efficiency.

Jens Otterstedt, General Manager of Al Masaood Bergum, said: "We were honored to serve as Bronze Sponsors at the esteemed Saudi Giga Projects 2023 and MENA Construction Summit 2023, and we took immense pride in presenting our ground-breaking Cross Laminated Timber and Hybrid Modular Building System. Our involvement in these events highlights our steadfast commitment to the advancement and evolution of the construction industry across the region."

Visitors found Al Masaood Bergum at stand number 6, where they showcased their innovative Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Hybrid Modular Building System. CLT is an engineered solid wood panel that is prefabricated and produced from a highly sustainable carbon-sequestering substance. Applications of CLT include structural components, floors, walls, and roofing, offering high resistance, thermal and acoustic properties, and a variety of architectural options. Hybrid Modular Solutions is a rapidly growing cold formed material used to make the construction process easier and products stronger. Al Masaood Bergum has standardized the product for mass manufacturing, and it is used for various applications such as residential and commercial building structures.

The events were organized by MEED (Middle East Business Intelligence) and Enso Creative Solutions, bringing together industry professionals and experts to share knowledge and insights on the latest trends and developments in the construction sector.
